Stern & Sorkin Consulting focuses on providing personalized professional services to individuals and small and medium sized businesses. Our clients are mostly entrepreneurs who operate their own businesses, but do not wish to undertake the burdensome tasks associated with ongoing compliance requirements. Such tasks, normally handled by a CFO or Controller, include accounting for routine business transactions and related reporting filings to meet today's complex tax law requirements. Most of our clients find it both cost effective and time efficient if they can better concentrate on running their business's operations by outsourcing the accounting and tax compliance responsibilities to our firm. In addition, many who utilize our services find that our ability to help develop strategic planning initiatives provides the necessary guidance to implement and execute business plans designed to enhance future growth and profitability. Our firm typically performs the majority of our clients' work on an ongoing monthly basis, however more attention will be provided if needed. Each and every one of our service offerings is tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
The majority of our clients do not typically have an in-house Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Controller. Stern & Sorkin Consulting fulfills those roles through a well defined and thorough relationship with our firm. Many businesses that we service refer to the outsourcing relationship as "Rent-A-CFO". Our CPAs and professionals devote their time and effort to providing quality, value-adding services to our clients.
